Cancer Care Basics for Nova Scotia (CCBNS)
This self-directed and self-paced on-demand course introduces health care professionals to the essential concepts in oncology and provides fundamental information to those who work with oncology patients and their families.

Cancer Systemic Therapy Certification Course (CSTCC)
Offered six-times yearly, this course uses content from the de Souza Institute’s Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course (PSCB), while incorporating Nova Scotia specific treatment and practice guidance for Registered Nurses working in systemic therapy treatment areas. Although nurses can pace their study time independently, Faculty from the Learning Institute for Health Care Providers will support progress and integration of the content and concepts.

Chemotherapy Competency Maintenance Course on Demand (CCMD)
This self-directed and self-paced on-demand course is designed for those who have completed the Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to help maintain competency in this area.
Prerequisite: PSCB/CSTCC.

Complex Malignant Hematology (CMHE)
This self-directed and self-paced on-demand course is a comprehensive course covering core competency areas in managing hematological malignancies, providing the knowledge you need to succeed in this challenging and rewarding sub-specialty.
Prerequisite: Cancer Care Basics, FOND, or PSCB/CSTCC.

Foundations of Cancer Disease Sites Series - On Demand (CDSM)
The Foundations of Cancer Disease Sites Series cover cancer care competencies in managing a variety of disease sites. Specific cancer types are separated into self-directed and self-paced on-demand short courses (3-5 learning hours) to help you enhance knowledge in the areas of oncology nursing practice you want to focus on.

Oncological Emergencies - Core Conditions (OEMA)
This self-directed, self-paced on demand course introduces five oncologic emergencies (OEs) that may occur before, during, or after a cancer diagnosis. It provides essential knowledge to support identifying patients at risk, recognizing OEs early, and implementing appropriate preventative measures and interventions.

Radiation Oncology Nursing Practice Course
This self-directed, self-paced on demand course covers the knowledge and clinical decision-making skills fundamental to those who care for patients and their families before, during, and after receiving radiation therapy.
CNA Oncology Exam Study Group (COES)
The de Souza Oncology Study Group is a self-directed and self-paced preparatory program to assist independent adult learners preparing to write the CNA Oncology Certification Exam. Registration aligns with Spring and Fall writings of the CNA Oncology Certification Exam.
Prerequisite: Participants who are planning to write the CNA Oncology Exam in the Spring or Fall.
