Specialty Programs and Courses Registration Information

Registration requirements and deadlines are included on each program’s page on this website. Please ensure you meet all requirements for the program before you register, including approval from a sponsoring manager.

Acceptance to some programs is limited due to the number of spaces available.

Registration Process

We are rolling out Genuis, a student information system. Currently, registration has moved to Genuis for the following programs/courses: 

Please use the registration link on these program/course pages. Further instructions will be sent to you after you complete the registration form. If you have any questions, check out the Genuis FAQ page and the Genuis Learner Guide.

For all other specialty programs/courses, please follow the instructions below: 

Complete all sections of the online registration form.

Submit all supporting documents:

  1. Resume detailing your professional experience, education, employment and leadership activities
  2. Proof of professional registration
  3. Learners who are not employees of Nova Scotia Health or the IWK Health Centre will need to provide proof of active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure that all supporting documents are received by our office. They can be attached to the registration form, or sent to:
