11-week Cancer Systemic Therapy Certification Course

This 11-week certification course is comprised of the following components:

Knowledge: Online, independent, interactive learning modules and final exam in collaboration with the de Souza Institute's Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotheraphy (PSCB) course
Skills: In-person skills and simulation lab day with the CSTCC faculty
Performance: Integrated clinical preceptorship throughout the course

Timeline

This represents a general timeline for the course. The exact delivery model may vary between offerings.

Week 1–7: Self-directed online learning
Week 8–9: In-person skills and simulation lab day (7.5 hours)
Week 10–11: Virtual final exam – 2 hours with proctor
Preceptorship: Clinical practice: Integrated clinical preceptorship throughout; minimum 3 shifts
