Full Time Anesthesia Technician Program
This program is designed for individuals who have applied to an Expression of Interest (EOI), job posting, or been selected for your employer to enroll in the Anesthesia Technician Program.
This program is a full-time, in-person format aimed at ensuring the learner achieves the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to meet the program competencies.
Timeline
This represents the general timeline for the program. The exact delivery model may vary between offerings:

Week 1: Foundations of Anesthesia Technology content and skills lab

Weeks 2 – 3: Pharmacology and Anesthetic Modalities content, skills labs and OR observation days

Weeks 4 - 6: Anesthetic Machine and Patient Monitoring content, skills lab, and OR observation days

Weeks 7 – 9: Practice Management and Emergencies content, skills lab, and OR observation days

Weeks 9 – 11: Special Considerations content, skills lab, and OR observation days

Week 12: Final exam, in-person lab sessions for skills practice and assessments

Week 13+: 900 clinical hours
