Belinda Ferguson

Belinda joined Nova Scotia Health in 2014, following 20 years as an independent businesswoman and dance artist. She has held several positions with Nova Scotia Health, from Secretary C to Administrative Support for an IPP&L Director. She is now working with the Learning Institute as a Project Leader.

Belinda studied Project Management at the Sobeys School of Business in Saint Mary’s University, has a Leadership Specialist Diploma from University of Waterloo, a Medical Office Administration Certificate with Honours from NSCC, and multiple certifications in Dance and Fitness. As a devoted lifelong learner, she continues to look for opportunities to expand her knowledge and experience.

Belinda is a published writer of poetry, articles, and short stories and has moved on to writing novels. In her spare time, she paints in acrylic and water colours and maintains her fitness at the neighborhood gym. She lives in Halifax in a wee brick house with her author husband and two black cats, one of whom is her best friend, but she refuses to divulge which one.
